WARNING: BEWARE OF SCAMS!

Many citizens are receiving suspicious phone calls, emails, and text messages. The scammers try to convince you that you have an unpaid fine with the KPA and instruct you to click a link, enter your personal information, and make a payment. This is completely false and untrue!

The police urge everyone to be extremely cautious and keep the following in mind:

• Do NOT answer phone calls starting with the country code +212.
• Watch out for fake email addresses: Scammers are using random email addresses, such as ingahemmerlein871825@hotmail.com and zenasusoeff91905@hotmail.com.
• Do NOT open links received via text message. The information in these messages is entirely incorrect!
• Never share sensitive information, such as copies of your ID or your banking details.
• Do NOT make any payments or transactions.

KPA Recommendation: Have you received one of these messages or calls? Block the sender and delete the message immediately! Stay alert and warn your family and friends.
