ORANJESTAD - The Public Prosecutor's Office is calling on persons who have been summoned to appear before the traffic judge on February 29 t2024 o pay their transaction before that day. 

This can be done online via account number 4000905 of the Aruba Bank, quoting the prosecution number. Payment can also be made at the public prosecutor's office after making an appointment through the website www.omaruba.com. If you are summoned on Thursday, February 29, 2024, you have until Wednesday, February 28, to pay the transaction. The summons will expire if you pay on time.
Of course, if you disagree with the fine you received from the police, you have the right to take it to court. The judge will make a new decision.
Keep in mind that on Febuary29, the prosecutor will demand a higher amount and the judge may go along with it.
