This Saturday, December 13, the last Baki den Bario of 2025 will take place in Barcadera.
ORANJESTAD – The final Baki den Bario event of the year will be held on December 13, 2025, at Barcadera.
For 2026, the goal is to place permanent waste containers in strategic areas. The government is considering six possible locations for these bins, creating a structured, accessible, and coordinated system that will allow the community to dispose of waste 24/7.
As for this weekend’s Baki den Bario, the designated area will be just behind Arugas in Barcadera. There is a large space where bins will be available for residents to dispose of their waste.
This is a call to the entire community, especially the areas of Simeon Antonio, Cas Paloma, Mahuma, Wayaca and Santa Marta, to take advantage of this opportunity at the end of 2025 to get rid of garbage and help keep homes, neighborhoods, schools, clubs, and businesses clean by bringing all waste to Barcadera during the Baki den Bario action.
The government urges the community to start preparing their waste during the week and to bring it to the designated area on Saturday to join this important effort for a cleaner Aruba. From 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM, several departments will be present to coordinate the drop-off and facilitate the flow of cars so that everything proceeds quickly and in an organized manner.
