This Friday We All Go Back to the Streets – Halloween Edition!

ORANJESTAD – The Government, together with store owners in the main street, announce the Halloween Edition of Ban Bek Caya, taking place this Friday, October 31, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Following the success of the first Ban Bek Caya, which brought together around 5,000 people to shop, stroll, and enjoy the lively atmosphere, the Government of Aruba, the Department of Culture, and the Aruba Tourism Authority are once again joining forces to bring the community another unforgettable evening.

This edition promises special offers, great food, and live entertainment along the main street, from Plaza Daniel Leo to Djiespie’s Place, extending through Columbusstraat and Wilhelminastraat.

What’s Happening in Caya Grandi

  • Plaza Daniel Leo: Enjoy 1-OAK, DJ Devin, DJ Ramiro, and a special Halloween Mojito Happy Hour from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Penha: Fun for the family with Lilo & Stitch.
  • Happy Spot and Polo: DJ Alvin will keep the beats going.
  • Dufry: Dino Jump for the kids!
  • Plaza La Linda: Performances by DJ Double R and Ozone Band, plus lots of food and drinks.
  • Maggy’s: Great offers and music by DJ Vanessa.
  • Ana Catharina (new hotspot): Featuring Cookout, Little One, Mint, Lime & Beans, and Liquid Chef.
  • Plaza Pro Fashion: Activities for children.
  • Ex-Burger King (Aruba Trading Company): Cerbes Presidente and DJ T.
  • Plaza Cultura: Trunk Trick or Treat and DJ 297 bringing the spooky vibes.
  • Plaza Nikkie Habibe (Djiespie’s Place): Live band Azucar, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our elderly community to dance and enjoy.
  • Plaza Commercio (Columbusstraat to Wilhelminastraat): I Culture Roots Reggae Band and DJ Splash, Dino Jump for kids, crafts, and local products, plus the Balashi Tuc Tuc.

Open Restaurants Along Wilhelminastraat

Universal Restaurant, El Gaucho, Pepe Margo, Taste of Aruba, Old Dutch Bakery, and City Garden Bistro de Suikertuin (better known as Suikertuintje) will be open to serve delicious meals throughout the evening.

In addition, several tents and kiosks featuring locally made crafts and products will be set up along the route.
