The New Secretary of State for Kingdom Relations visits Aruba.

ORANJESTAD – On Monday, August 12, Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes met with the new Secretary of State for Kingdom Relations and Digitalization, Mr. Zsolt Szabó, who is visiting the islands within the Kingdom for the first time in his new role.

Secretary of State Szabó was accompanied by his delegation, along with the representative of VNO (Representation of the Netherlands in Oranjestad), Mr. Vincent Storimans, and the representative of VNACS (Representation of the Netherlands in Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten), Mr. Edson Hato.

Following the meeting with the Prime Minister, the Secretary of State met with the Council of Ministers of Aruba and received a Landspakket presentation. Additionally, Mr. Szabó met with the Governor of Aruba, H.E. Alfonso Boekhoudt, the President of Parliament, Mr. Edgard Vrolijk, and the faction leaders in Parliament.

Mr. Szabó was satisfied with the visit and saw it as a first step in further strengthening the solid relationship for the well-being of all partners within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. From Aruba, Mr. Szabó will continue his visit to Curaçao and Bonaire.
