The Governor receives State Secretary for the Interior and Kingdom Relations
ORANJESTAD - On Tuesday, August 12th, the Governor of Aruba, H.E. Alfonso Boekhoudt, received the State Secretary for the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Mr. Eddie van Marum, for an audience.
Outgoing State Secretary Van Marum will be on an introductory visit to all Caribbean countries of the Kingdom from August 10th to 15th.
During the audience at Cas Ceremonial, topics discussed included the Kingdom Act on Sustainable Public Finances, the current state of implementation of the measures from the Country Packages, and the advisory report of the Council of State of the Kingdom, entitled "70 Years of the Charter for the Kingdom."
Mr. Van Marum was accompanied during this visit by Mr. Roald Lapperre, Director-General of Kingdom Relations, Mr. Gerbert Kunst, Representative of the Netherlands in Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten, Mr. Vincent Storimans, Deputy Representative of the Netherlands in Aruba, and Ms. Tjitske de Groot, Political Assistant to the State Secretary.
