The free workshop series "Masterclass Entrepreneurship" launched at DEACI.
ORANJESTAD - On February 27, 2025, in a packed hall, the first workshop of the free ones organized by the Department of Economic Affairs, Industry, and Trade through its unit IDEA took off.
This workshop is for all who wish to start or grow in their entrepreneurial path.
Masterclass Entrepreneurship's program consists of 4 phases, and each phase of four to six workshops.
These phases include:
- how to plan your business.
- launch your business in the market.
- how to manage your business, and finally.
- how to grow your business.
The first workshop of the first phase began with market research and competitive analysis. These workshops are under the guidance of Mr. Edward Erasmus of Erasmus Consulting & Training. He shares his market research and competitive analysis knowledge to help participants create a strong business base.
"I am pleased to see that many people came and used this opportunity to elevate themselves and realize their dream of owning a business," outgoing Minister of Economic Affairs, Communications, and Sustainable Development Geoffrey Wever stated. It demonstrates our community's commercial, ambitious, and creative spirit is alive.
Minister Wever wished all participants much success and thanked IDEA, under the guidance of Mrs. Louella Croes and Mrs. Judella Trim, for their commitment to organizing this series of workshops.
