ORANJESTAD—On January 20, the Prime Minister, Mike Eman, in his capacity as Minister of Culture, received a delegation from the Federation of European Carnival Cities (FECC) in Germany, which is currently visiting Aruba as part of an official cultural exchange.

The visit is part of the international cooperation within the global carnival network, as SMAC is now an active member of FECC. During their stay in Aruba, the delegation attended three of our carnival parades, gaining firsthand experience with the organization, community participation, and cultural impact of our national festival.
