The Aruba Tourism Authority announces the return of the Autentico Aruba Culinary Festival.
ORANJESTAD—The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) announces the return of the culinary festival Authentic, scheduled from October 11 to 19, 2025.
This event celebrates Aruba's culinary heritage and cultural diversity, bringing together local chefs, international talent, culinary students, and the wider community.
Authentic reflects the influence of more than 100 nationalities that shape the food culture in Aruba. From long-standing family recipes to international dishes with a local touch and innovations by new chefs, the festival shows the different ways food tells the story of Aruba's identity. More than just a food event, it is a platform to recognize the unique character of our island and the stories behind our cuisine.
The festival opens with "Restaurant Week," which is from October 11 to 17, where partner restaurants throughout the island will offer authentic menus at fixed prices. At the same time, selected venues will organize "Bucket List Experiences," exclusive events created in collaboration with internationally recognized chefs. These special nights are designed to offer memorable and unique dining experiences.
The celebration will culminate on October 18 and 19 with an outdoor culinary festival on Wilhelminastraat in Oranjestad. More than 30 restaurants and beverage partners will come together to demonstrate Aruba's gastronomic diversity in a public setting.
This year, the festival will also highlight the next generation of culinary talent. EPB and EPI students will attend their booth, presenting different menus developed in collaboration with their instructors. In addition, they will participate in practical workshops, gaining valuable experience and exposure to the professional culinary world.
With Authentic, A.T.A. continues its mission to support meaningful and high-quality tourism experiences that highlight Aruba's culture, creativity, and culinary diversity.
