Students of the University of Aruba present: "Latin Vibes – A Culinary Affair, a 5-Course Wine Pairing Benefit Dinner”

This is an old post.

ORANJESTAD - Students of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism (FHTMS) at the University of Aruba present for the third time an "Experiential Charity Dinner" that will take place on March 23, 2024, in the garden of the University of Aruba.

The student group in their second year of the "Meetings & Events Management course" organizes the event, "Latin Vibes" for 100 people, including a five-course dinner and matching wines accompanied by specific entertainment for each dish.

An event with two goals:

  1. Firstly, the event offers students real practical experience, where they will organize and execute the event from start to finish, prepare the menu, set up, serve, and break it down under the guidance of Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive experts.
  2. Secondly, it is an event to raise funds to facilitate, among other things, trips and educational activities for the faculty students.

This special event opens the door to more collaboration between partners in the tourism industry.

Such projects enable students to develop their potential, both inside and outside the four walls of a traditional classroom, through experiential learning. Furthermore, it offers them opportunities that impact their lives long-term.

The University of Aruba invites the Aruban community to an evening of delicious food, entertainment, and engaging conversations for a good cause. The Latin Vibes - A Culinary Affair is on March 23, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the University of Aruba. Tickets are available for $100 per person, and some tables seat two persons.
