Strong ties: Aruba and Bonaire strengthen police force collaboration

ORANJESTAD – The partnership between the Aruba Police Force and the Caribbean Netherlands Police Force is being further strengthened. 

During a recent working visit to Bonaire, representatives from both forces discussed intensifying collaboration and knowledge exchange between the islands.

Recently, Chief of Police Ramon Arnhem and Head of Communications of the KPA, Liliana Rasmijn, visited Chief of Police Alwyn Braaf of the KPCN on Bonaire.

The police forces in the Caribbean have a long tradition of collaboration. The KPA and KPCN are exploring ways to deepen and broaden their cooperation. During the visit, the Aruban delegation met with various departments within the KPCN.

The communication departments of both forces met to discuss collaboration in public information and communication. The visit to Bonaire marks one of the initial steps in a series of working visits to regional partners. Further visits to additional organizations within the Caribbean segment of the Kingdom are scheduled for the near future.

The KPA delegation expressed its appreciation for the warm welcome and the well-organized introduction to the various departments of the KPCN. Both forces look forward to continuing their collaboration and further sharing of knowledge and experience.
