Slaughterhouse closed on July 28 to 30.
ORANJESTAD -The Department of Public Health announces that the slaughterhouse at Veterinary Services will close July 28 to 30, due to circumstances beyond its control.
On July 31, the slaughterhouse will reopen for the primary sector to continue to sacrifice their animals for meat that is inspected and fresh for consumption.
Remember that the process of sacrificing animals at the slaughterhouse takes place by appointment.
Owners wishing to sacrifice one or more animals for food must ensure they call in advance to confirm their intention to use the abattoir's services.
This aims to organize the slaughter more systematically while adhering to hygiene regulations.
To schedule an appointment, contact the Veterinary Service at 5224310 or 5224320, or visit the Veterinary Service in Barcadera.
