Sesion virtual en especial pa studiantenan na Hulanda y Aruba
ORANJESTAD - Diamars 30 september, Minister Plenipotenciario na Merca, Sra. Zulema Erasmus lo tene un biaha mas un sesion virtual pa tur studiantenan di Aruba cu ta atendiendo universidad sea na Aruba, Hulanda of otro parti.
This session will highlight opportunities for internships and research in the United States, made possible through the Netherlands-America Foundation (NAF), which also provides funding support.
One of the main programs to be discussed is the DC Summer Internship Program, held annually from May to July in Washington, DC.
This two-month program offers Dutch university students studying outside the United States the chance to:
- Gain valuable internship experience and strengthen their CV
- Improve networking skills and build professional networks in Washington, DC
- Follow extra courses at a renowned university
- Explore the city and its institutions through cultural and social events
- Meet influential people in Washington, DC
- Develop the skills needed for a successful professional career
Participants join peers from the U.S. and around the world, while NAF provides scholarships to help cover program costs.
The session will feature:
- Minister Zulema Erasmus, who will deliver the opening remarks\
- Maggie Maloney (NAF), who will present the full range of opportunities offered by the foundation
- Evanee Giel, an Aruban student and recent participant in the DC Summer Internship Program, who will share her experience
