Ready to serve our country, swearing-in ceremony, and presentation of diplomas and certificates

ORANJESTAD—On September 19, the E.J. Watty Vos Police Academy awarded the MBO diploma to the class of N4-2021, the swearing-in ceremony to the class of 2023, and the Sub-Fiscal certificate and the "Learning to Teach" certificate to the instructors of the E.J. Watty Vos Police Academy.

The Minister of Justice, Mr. Arthur Dowers; the Attorney General, Ms. Amalin Flanegin; the Chief of Police, Drs. Ramon Arnhem, the police management, and the staff and personnel of the E.J. Watty Vos Police Academy attended the ceremony.

Nineteen students from the N4-2023 class were sworn in by the Minister of Justice, allowing them to proceed to the next phase: taking to the streets and continuing their police studies.

The class of N4-2021 has completed the four-year police training program. The signing ceremony for the MBO Police diploma took place during this event."

After four years of intensive police training and preparation, plus a law degree, we have 20 new police officers to serve our community.

On this special occasion, ten officers from both the National Criminal Investigation Department (Korps Landsrecherche) and the National Criminal Investigation Department (Landsrecherche), who completed their training as sub-prosecutors, also received their official certificates. Nine teachers from the E.J. Watty Vos Police School, who took the "Learning to Teach" course, also received their certificates.

We extend our gratitude to all the families of the officers who witnessed this special moment. It is a significant milestone for the officers, made possible by the unwavering support of their families.
