Opening of the 13th Annual International Summit 'Called to Wealth'
ORANJESTAD – On July 23, the 13th annual international summit 'Called to Wealth' opened at The St. Regis Aruba Resort.
The international conference, organized by the Kingdom Chamber of Commerce, brought together government leaders, business executives, investors, managers, and spiritual leaders from around the world to exchange ideas on leadership, innovation, and sustainable economic development. Prime Minister Mike Eman was welcomed upon arrival by Dr. K. Angela Pipersburgh, founder and president of the organization.
In his address, Prime Minister Eman welcomed all delegates to Aruba and expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to exchange perspectives with leaders from across the globe. He emphasized that values-driven leadership, collaboration, and service are essential to building a prosperous and sustainable future.
During the event, Prime Minister Eman presented Dr. Pipersburgh with a copy of the book Volk van Veerkracht (People of Resilience), published on the occasion of 40 years of Status Aparte and 50 years of the National Anthem and Flag. He explained that the book offers a reflection on Aruba’s development over the past decade and is dedicated to the memory of Aruba’s first Prime Minister, Henny Eman.
Following the address, Dr. Pipersburgh expressed her gratitude for the Prime Minister’s presence and remarks.
