Official swearing-in ceremony and graduation for the EPI Department of Health and Social Services

ORANJESTAD – The swearing-in ceremony and official graduation for the EPI Department of Health and Social Services recently took place.

On Monday, July 6, future nurses, social workers, and pharmacy assistants officially took their professional oath.

The official graduation ceremony for the students followed on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. This year, a total of 72 students graduated, meaning that an impressive 84% of the students within the EPI Department of Health and Social Services successfully completed their studies.

The Minister of Public Health, Social Affairs, Elderly Care, and Addiction Care, Ms. Mervin Wyatt-Ras, M.A., attended both ceremonies and congratulated the graduates on their dedication and perseverance. She reminded them that their diploma marks not only the end of their studies at EPI but also the beginning of a new phase that demands commitment, continuous development, and responsibility. She encouraged the graduates to keep expanding their knowledge, to continue growing, and to never stop learning.

In closing, Minister Wyatt-Ras shared this valuable advice with the graduates:
