Official Start of Construction on Three Soccer Fields: Ayo, Arsenal, and Washington

ORANJESTAD — The Minister of Sports has announced that the renovation of the mini-turf soccer fields has officially begun at three locations in Aruba: Ayo, Arsenal (in Coba Lodo), and Washington.

These projects are part of a vision to further modernize Aruba's sports infrastructure and create more opportunities for soccer development, particularly for our children and youth.

With the launch of these works, the three locations will be equipped with modern mini-turf fields, creating high-quality sports spaces that contribute to the development of soccer talent and encourage greater sports participation in the neighborhoods.

These renovations contribute to a more modern and accessible sports environment where children and youngsters can improve their skills, cultivate discipline, strengthen team spirit, and enjoy sports right in their own neighborhoods.

Investing in Sports is Investing in the Future

According to Minister of Sports Gerlien Croes, sports infrastructure plays an essential role in the social and physical development of our community. The importance of these projects extends far beyond simply upgrading soccer fields; they represent a direct investment in the well-being, health, and future of our younger generations.

With these three projects currently underway, the Ministry of Sports reaffirms its commitment to continuously strengthening sports infrastructure across Aruba's various neighborhoods and creating more spaces for sports and physical activity.

Minister Croes thanks the Lotto pa Deporte Foundation for its valuable contribution to this project and warmly congratulates the residents of Ayo, Coba Lodo, and Washington on the start of these improvements.
