Naturalization ceremonies on Tuesday, September 29, 2026

During the ceremonies, the candidates for naturalization took the oath or made the solemn affirmation in the presence of the Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt. By doing so, they declare, swear, and promise to respect the freedoms, rights, and obligations associated with Dutch citizenship.

Participation in the naturalization ceremony constitutes the final mandatory step in the process leading to the acquisition of Dutch nationality. Dutch nationality can be acquired through the option procedure or through naturalization. The applicable procedures are set out in the Kingdom Act on Dutch Nationality.
