Naturalization Ceremonies

ORANJESTAD - On Friday, June 12, 2026, two naturalization ceremonies took place in the Ballroom of the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort.

During the morning ceremony, the naturalization candidates took the oath or made the promise in the presence of the Acting Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Agustin Vrolijk. During the afternoon ceremony, this took place in the presence of the Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt.

By taking the oath or making the promise, the naturalization candidates declare and promise to respect the freedoms, rights, and duties associated with Dutch nationality.

Participation in the naturalization ceremony is the final mandatory part of a long process that leads to the acquisition of Dutch nationality. The procedure to obtain Dutch nationality via option or naturalization is included in the Kingdom Act on Dutch Nationality.
