Mosher Assumes Office as New Director of Free Zone Aruba N.V.

ORANJESTAD – The Ministry of Finance, Economic Affairs and Primary Sector, acting on behalf of the Country of Aruba as sole shareholder of Free Zone Aruba N.V. (FZA), announces that Mr. Walter E. Mosher officially assumed office as Director of Free Zone Aruba N.V. on Monday, February 2, 2026.

Mr. Mosher’s appointment marks an important step in the ongoing institutional strengthening and modernization of Free Zone Aruba, which plays a strategic role in Aruba’s economic diversification and international positioning.

An Aruban professional, Mr. Mosher brings extensive private-sector, academic, and international experience. His return to Aruba reflects a deliberate commitment to contributing to the country’s economic and institutional development.

Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs and Primary Sector Geoffrey Wever stated:

The appointment followed a rigorous and transparent public selection process conducted by the Board of Commissioners, in consultation with the Minister as representative of the shareholder Country of Aruba.

Minister Wever also commended the Board of Commissioners for its leadership during a key transition period, noting that recent institutional reforms and strategic planning have strengthened the foundation for effective governance and future growth.

With Mr. Mosher’s appointment, Free Zone Aruba enters a new phase focused on modernization, competitiveness, and its role as a catalyst for sustainable economic development.
