KPA Welcomes Chief Inspector Alvin Molina Back to the Police

ORANJESTAD – The Aruba Police Force (KPS) announces that, effective December 21, 2025, Mr. Alvin Molina will take over from Mr. Humphrey Koolman as interim head of the Investigations Department.

Mr. Alvin Molina has been working with Inspector Koolman for several weeks to familiarize himself with the work, knowledge, and functioning of the Investigations Department.

The Aruba Police Force expresses its deep gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Koolman for his dedication and valuable contribution to both the Investigations Department and the entire force over many years.

High Commissioner Ramon Arnhem is pleased with Mr. Molina's return to the KPA.

"With Molina, we are getting an experienced police officer and leader. He is a tremendous asset to our Police Force Management Team (KMT). He brings not only knowledge and experience but also an extensive network. I have great confidence in a successful and effective collaboration," said Arnhem. 

About Alvin Molina

After completing his pre-university education (VWO), Mr. Molina continued his studies at the Netherlands Police Academy (NPA) in Apeldoorn. Following graduation, he worked for the Regional Criminal Investigation Cooperation Team (RST), served as district chief of Oranjestad and San Nicolas, and served as team leader of the SWAT team.

In his most recent position, he was a member of the Parliament of Aruba. He will soon return to the Aruba Police Force to continue his career there.
