June 30, 2026, Is the Deadline for Paying Motor Vehicle Tax for the Second Half of 2026
ORANJESTAD – The Tax Department reminds all customers that June 30, 2026, is the deadline for paying motor vehicle tax for the second half of 2026.
Effective July 1, 2026, a 50% penalty will be imposed on all overdue payments.
Avoid unnecessary additional costs by paying on time.
Warning
If you have not yet paid your motor vehicle tax for the first half of 2026, a 50% penalty has already been applied to your outstanding balance. As long as this debt remains unpaid, you will not be able to pay the motor vehicle tax for the second half of the year. As a result, an additional 50% penalty will be imposed.
We therefore strongly encourage you to pay the full amount due for 2026 on time to avoid further charges.
