Governor visits new Utilities Group office building
ORANJESTAD – On Thursday, October 1, the Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt, visited the new Utilities Group office building on Italiëstraat in Oranjestad.
During the visit, Mr. Joseph Everon, Managing Director of Utilities Aruba N.V., speaking on behalf of all the Utilities Group executives present, provided an update on the progress being made in Aruba’s energy transition. This transition has received a significant boost thanks to a subsidy of up to 53 million euros provided by the Dutch government for investments in grid connections, grid reinforcement, and battery storage.
WEB Aruba N.V., N.V. ELMAR, AWSS N.V., and Utilities Aruba N.V. together comprise the Utilities Group.
