FIFA Delegation visited the Government for the Turf Project for seven football fields
ORANJESTAD - Recently, a delegation of FIFA and the Aruban Football Association (AVB) visited Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes and Minister of Education and Sport Endy Croes in connection with the final phase of the Turf Project for seven football fields in Aruba.
The delegation consisted of Mr. Alastair Cox, FIFA Artificial Turf Expert, together with Mr. Jordan Victoire, FIFA Regional Development Manager, accompanied by the President of the Aruban Football Association (AVB) Mr. Randolf Lacle, Secretary General Mrs. Dyane Wiersma, and Mr. Pancho Croes, Project Manager.
FIFA and AVB confirmed the seven fields that will receive turf: Nacional, Bubali, RCA, Riverplate, Dakota, Estrella, and La Fama. The eligible fields are for children, youth, and women's football categories. FIFA will soon return to sign the agreement for this project, starting in early 2025.
