Father Canuto 'Toti' Fuentebella celebrates his 25th anniversary as a Priest in Aruba.
ORANJESTAD - Father Canuto 'Toti' Fuentebella, who recently completed 25 years working as a priest in Aruba, recently visited Minister of Finance and Culture Xiomara Maduro.
Two parishioners of Paradera, Mrs. Jeanette Croes and Mrs. Miriam Jansen accompanied Father Toti.
During the meeting, Father Toti reminisced about his arrival in Aruba, service in different districts, and his work at the Parish of Santa Filomena in Paradera, where he preaches and supports the Catholic community.
Father Toti was born in the Philippines, and at a very young age, after three years of being ordained as a priest, in 1998, he came to Aruba to help in spiritual guidance as a priest. In a relatively short time, Father Toti learned to master the Papiamento language and adapted and learned to know and appreciate the ArubanAruban culture. Father Toti served mass in different parishes, among others, in Santa Cruz, Savaneta, and San Nicolas. In 2007, Father Toti headed the Parish of Santa Filomena in Paradera.
Minister Maduro congratulates and thanks Father Toti for his 25 years dedicated to the priestly work for the benefit of Aruba.
