DIMAS Now Closer to the Community

ORANJESTAD – As part of its ongoing efforts to improve public services, the Department of Integration, Management, and Admission of Foreigners (DIMAS) has recently launched a pilot project at MFA Noord.

Through this initiative, DIMAS is increasing its accessibility by bringing its services closer to residents in Aruba’s districts. Through MFA Noord, DIMAS is now offering its Help Desk services closer to home.

For the time being, Help Desk services at MFA Noord are available only to individuals who have scheduled an appointment in advance.

Services such as obtaining general information, submitting missing documents, or making payments will continue to be available at the DIMAS headquarters on Paardenbaaistraat.

In addition, DIMAS has introduced a new WhatsApp number through which the public can obtain general information about permit procedures and the documents required for the various types of permits. The number, +297 569 8173, is available for messages only from Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. No phone calls will be accepted through this number.

DIMAS requests that users provide all relevant information in a single message. Please include your name, CRV number, details regarding the specific application, and clearly state any questions you may have.

Through these efforts, DIMAS aims to facilitate access to information, reduce waiting times, and provide the community with more efficient and accessible services.

During the pilot phase, DIMAS will evaluate the results and explore opportunities to expand this service to other districts across Aruba in the near future.
