Cycle 8 of the Edutech innovation project opens

This is an old post.

ORANJESTAD - After a successful cycle 7, cycle 8 of the innovation project, Edutech, has opened.

Schools can apply and register until October 21, 2024, to participate.

The government of Aruba has made 800 thousand florins available for this project to fulfill the dream of approximately 3 to 4 schools. It is a unique opportunity for schools to receive funding for digitalization materials.

Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes invites parents and students to collaborate with educators on the innovative initiative their school has in mind. For the school to have the best chance to win, it is necessary to assess what it will require or wish to facilitate education.

This cycle 8 includes the government's allocation of 800 thousand florins for school digitalization materials over the last two years.

This cycle will probably be the last one of Edutech. The government of Aruba and Futura introduced this idea to help schools acquire the necessary digital materials to make the education process in schools more enjoyable and efficient. The Ministry of Innovation will transfer the innovation project to the Ministry of Education so they can continue with it.
