Construction Begins on New Tower at International Raceway Park 'Palo Marga'
ORANJESTAD — Recently, the official groundbreaking ceremony took place for the construction of the new tower at International Raceway Park 'Palo Marga'.
This historic moment took place during the second day of the One Cool Summer event and marks a major milestone in the modernization of Aruba's drag racing infrastructure.
The current Palo Marga tower has served the motorsports community faithfully for years. With the construction of the new tower, this sports facility is preparing for a new era, equipped with modern amenities for drivers, technical teams, organizers, and racing enthusiasts.
Building the new tower is a significant step forward for Palo Marga. It contributes to the vision of further strengthening Aruba as a premier destination for local and international motorsports events, paving the way for fantastic performances and new records on the Palo Marga track.
Collaboration to Strengthen Drag Racing in Aruba
Minister of Sports Gerlien Croes thanks the Lotto pa Deporte Foundation for its support and funding, which made this investment possible.
She also thanks the Aruban Motorsport Association (Arubaanse Bond van Motorsport) for its dedication, perseverance, and ongoing commitment to the development of motorsports in Aruba.
