Conference and Congress on Language Impairments (Trastorno di Desaroyo di Idioma - TOS) Organized by FEPOH and Learning Cities Aruba

ORANJESTAD — On October 5 and 6, the important congress 'Training Support for TOS' (Language Impairment) will take place. 

This initiative is jointly organized by the Foundation for the Hearing Impaired Aruba (FEPOH) and the Ministry of Education, under the auspices of Learning Cities Aruba.

This initiative provides training for educators and valuable information for the entire community. Through this seminar, the Ministry of Education underlines its commitment to inclusive education and its ongoing support for the well-being and development of all students in Aruba.

The event is designed to train education professionals and raise public awareness about the challenges and solutions related to language impairments (TOS).

  • October 5 – Professional Development Conference for Educators:
    A day dedicated specifically to teachers so they can gain knowledge on how to recognize and support students with TOS in the school environment. This session focuses on pedagogical strategies and practical methods for the classroom.
  • October 6 – National Congress on Language Impairments (Public):
    A congress open to the entire community, where the topic of Trastorno di Desaroyo di Idioma (TOS) / Language Impairment will be addressed, valuable information provided, and practical tools offered for home and the community. It is an ideal opportunity to exchange experiences among educational professionals, families, and the general public.
