Call to Action for Property Owners in Oranjestad and San Nicolas
ORANJESTAD - Minister of Economic Affairs, Communication and Sustainable Development, Geoffrey Wever, on Monday, March 4, 2024, called upon all property owners in the city centers of Oranjestad and San Nicolas to take advantage of the opportunity and participate in the "showcase event" during the Aruba Investment Summit in the Netherlands on March 21.
Once flourishing commercial areas, the economic model that once sustained the city centers of Oranjestad and San Nicolas no longer supported them. These areas require fundamental revision to transform into vibrant, multifunctional spaces with potential for residential living, gastronomy, entertainment, and other public amenities. For this transformation, investment is crucial, for which the Aruba Investment Summit 2024 in The Hague provides an excellent opportunity to attract the necessary funding to reactivate commercial activities in the urban centers.
Collaboration in the Revitalization of Our City Centers
If you want to sell or lease your property, seek investors as co-lenders/partners, and receive more information, you may email info@investinaruba.com to register.
By registering your property in the center of San Nicolas and Oranjestad, as an owner, you gain access to this event to showcase your property to a much larger market of potential European investors.
Properties in the city centers of San Nicolas and Oranjestad, whether they are undeveloped plots, abandoned buildings, or underutilized spaces, offer potential for exploration. Therefore, information about these properties is crucial: their availability, condition, and the interest of their owners in selling, leasing, renovating, or collaborating to establish unique businesses in these buildings.
Aruba is being positioned as a tourist destination and now is the time to present Aruba in the Netherlands as a country for investments. This initiative aims at identifying available properties and fostering dialogue between property owners and potential investors, creating partnerships that can serve as the foundation to revitalize our city centers.
