Bodycam Pilot Project in San Nicolas and Oranjestad
ORANJESTAD – The Aruba Police Force announces that the bodycam pilot project is progressing well.
At the start of this initiative, uniformed officers from the Noord and Santa Cruz districts tested the bodycams during their daily duties. Now, after two months, it is the turn of the San Nicolas and Oranjestad districts to participate in the testing phase.
All police officers are getting the training they need to use bodycams in their regular work, and the project is still in its experimental phase.
The Aruba Police Force is currently in a period of transition, introducing modern and advanced technology not only to enhance police work but also to improve public safety and strengthen the fight against crime.
