Ban Wiki event - How to use translation tools - Wikipedia on Aruba
ORANJESTAD – The Wikipedia in Aruba project hosts Ban Wiki! every month, a meetup where you can ask questions about the project, connect with other wiki enthusiasts, and start editing yourself.
The next edition will take place on September 16 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the National Library Aruba – San Nicolas (Peter Stuyvesantstraat 16, San Nicolas).
Theme of This Edition
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to use the translation tool to convert existing articles from English or Dutch into Papiamento. You’ll get a clear, step-by-step guide covering key concepts, useful tips, and built-in features to make the process easier and more enjoyable. This is a beginner-friendly, entry-level training designed for those just starting out.\
Bring your laptop or phone if you want to participate. Please make sure to create your Wikipedia account before the event. Not sure how? Watch this short video:
