AVB Awards Night 2025 honors football excellence in Aruba
ORANJESTAD — The AVB Awards Night 2025 brought together players, coaches, federations, and fans to celebrate the achievements of Aruban football (soccer) during the 2024–2025 season.
Minister of Sports, Ms. Gerlien Croes, attended the annual gala at the Renaissance Convention Center and praised the collective effort behind the sport’s growth on the island.
“Our footballers are examples of discipline, determination, and unity. Football unites our people and inspires our youth to pursue their dreams and reach new heights,” Minister Croes said.
The evening recognized not only athletic talent but also the dedication of volunteers, clubs, and staff who continue to strengthen football in Aruba.
Minister Croes called on the community and clubs to keep supporting the sport, emphasizing its power to create opportunities for young people and expand its positive impact on society.
Congratulations went out to all nominees, the AVB team, and local clubs for their outstanding contributions to Aruban football.
