Autentico strengthens professional development in the culinary sector with the Industry Seminar 2026

In addition to celebrating the authentic flavors of Aruba, the initiative also focuses on investing in the professionals who shape our island's culinary industry today and who will guide its future.

As part of this commitment, Autentico will organize an Industry Seminar on October 8, 2026, bringing together chefs, hospitality professionals, and restaurant operators for a morning of inspiration, innovation, and knowledge exchange. The event will take place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort.

The seminar will offer valuable perspectives on sustainability, service excellence, international gastronomic trends, and Aruba's positioning as a premier culinary destination. The program features presentations by internationally recognized experts, an engaging panel discussion, and a live culinary demonstration.

Among the distinguished guest speakers are:

• Sian Young, an educator and consultant in waste management and founder of Siel Environment Services, with more than 20 years of experience in sustainability and environmental policy.
• Werner Loens, former director and Chief Inspector of Michelin Guide Benelux, bringing 37 years of experience in gastronomy and hospitality excellence.
• Lindsey Peckham, a hospitality leader and former director of Guest Relations at Eleven Madison Park, specializing in service-oriented culture, developing high-performing teams, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Virgilio Martínez, a renowned Peruvian chef celebrated for promoting Peru’s biodiversity and landscapes, and for pioneering a new gastronomic movement that redefined haute cuisine.
