Athlete Elliot Loonstra presents the prime minister with a t-shirt and several pins for the Paralympic Games.
ORANJESTAD – Recently, the Paralympic Delegation of Aruba, and athlete Elliot Loonstra, visited Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes.
Elliot Loonstra is representing Aruba for the second time at the Paralympic Games, which will take place in Paris and begin on August 28.
During this meeting, Elliot Loonstra presented the Prime Minister with a t-shirt, the official uniform that the Aruban delegation will wear in Paris during the Paralympic Games. Elliot also handed over several pins to the Prime Minister to share with fellow ministers. These pins are significant during the games as athletes exchange them, forming a chain of friendship.
On behalf of the Government of Aruba, the Prime Minister presented Elliot with the Aruban flag, which he will carry during the parade in Paris, and wished him all the best.
