Aruba Tourism Authority presents Authentic Aruba Culinary Festival 2024.

This event will emphasize the culinary variation that Aruba has to offer and the exceptional talent of our chefs. This festival provides a unique opportunity to explore the rich variety of food, discover new restaurants, taste, and appreciate high-quality cuisine that reflects the culinary tradition and cultural diversity of Aruba. With more than a hundred nationalities on our island, this event will become another moment of celebration of our cultural heritage and the different flavors that are part of our identity.

The festival will serve as a platform for the culinary sector to present their products, and to create more local support and enthusiasm. It will also bring together restaurants with culinary students of EPB and EPI and will help position Aruba as a culinary destination internationally. Without forgetting it is expected to inspire our young people to join the vibrant culinary industry in Aruba.

Authentic Aruba Culinary Festival consists of two parts:

• The first part will feature Authentic Restaurant Week, which will start Monday, October 7, to Friday, October 11. The participating restaurants will present their menu, different offers, or special events published on the calendar of events on the Authentic website.
• The second part of the festival will feature the so-called 'Wilhelminastraat Culinary Festival' during the weekend of October 12 and October 13 at the historic Wilhelminastraat in downtown Oranjestad.

This event will allow locals and visitors to enjoy various food and drinks at the different booths that will be present, illustrating the world of gastronomy representative of Aruba. There is local entertainment and competition of Bartender's Brawl and Iron Chef Aruba on the podium.

What to expect during the event?

The Bartender's Brawl on Saturday, October 12, is the sixth edition of this event in Aruba. Several bartenders will compete to present original cocktail drinks during this event.
During the Iron Chef competition on the podium on Sunday, October 13, three chefs will compete to prepare signature dishes with the assistance of culinary students from EPB and EPI.

In addition, the public can expect a wide variety of restaurants presenting two dishes at an attractive price while enjoying local musical talents in the streets of Wilhelminastraat. There will be several places to sit, relax, and enjoy events.

Soon, the tickets will be available on the website www.autenticofestival.com. With the purchase of a "Weekend Pass" ticket worth AWG. 54,00 will receive a credit of AWG. 30 that one can use during the event. Or you can buy a "Day Pass" worth AWG. 36, and receive a credit of AWG. 20,00 to use on the day of the event. Each ticket includes a reusable copy, food and beverage credit, and entry to the Bartender's Brawl and Iron Chef competitions.
Donations will go to a good cause with the not-used credits.
