Aruba shone at New York Fashion Week!
ORANJESTAD—Aruban designer Quianna presented her work with confidence and professionalism on the international stage at New York Fashion Week, one of the most prestigious fashion platforms in the world.
Aruba's Cultural Ambassador, Michael Lampe, was present to support and accompany the participation as part of his commitment to position Aruban creativity on the global map and strengthen cultural relations between Aruba and abroad.
"I'm very proud of Quianna," Lampe said. "To climb an international stage requires discipline, preparation, and perseverance. Not all talent is automatically ready for the international stage, but with proper preparation, I am confident that we will continue to represent Aruba on a global level.
Lampe emphasizes that the presence at New York Fashion Week is not only an individual achievement but also a sign that Aruba's creative sector has real potential to compete and collaborate internationally.
"If we want Aruba to continue to shine, we must actively invest in talent development, creating structure, access, and concrete opportunities. National pride must go hand in hand with strategy and sustainability.
Quianna's involvement represents a significant milestone for Aruba's cultural visibility, affirming that Aruban creativity deserves a place on the global stage.
A heartfelt thank you to FDLA and Aruba Fashion Week for collaborating to support our talents.
