Aruba Olympic Committee presents delegation uniforms to the Prime Minister.
ORANJESTAD – On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes and Minister of Education and Sports Endy Croes welcomed representatives from the Aruba Olympic Committee (COA).
COA Secretary-General Nicole Hoevertsz and Paris 2024 Mission Chief Kamilah Dammers presented the uniform kit that the athletes will wear during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Sports.
The uniform kit includes:
- one jacket;
- three shirts (one dark blue, one light blue, and one white);
- one cap,
- an Olympic Games Paris 2024 pin.
The theme of the uniforms is "Fauna," and the design features three animals from Aruba: the lizard, turtle, and trupial, in a mix of blue tones representing our sea. Totto sponsored the uniforms, made from recycled materials and printed with biodegradable ink, thus contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 agenda.
