ORANJESTAD -The Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Sports Complex in Dakota is undergoing renovations.
Creating an ultra-modern multidisciplinary facility that will elevate the level of those training in this complex requires a substantial investment.
They installed high-quality artificial turf on the football field, meeting FIFA requirements and lights to the standards of FIFA and CONCACAF. Now, it is the turn of the athletics track around the football field. It will become a "state of the art" athletics track accredited by World Athletics. In October and November 2024, the renowned company MONDO will be in Aruba to install the MONDO Track prefabricated in Italy.
MONDO is an Italian company with experience in the building of athletics tracks to international standards, complying with all World Athletics requirements for competitions worldwide. Moreover, MONDO is responsible for building the athletics track used in France during the Paris 2024 Olympics at the "Stade de France", and the Pan American Games and other world games.
