Aruba and Curaçao detectives attended a course for Criminal Investigation Officer
ORANJESTAD - An intensive course took place recently for detectives from Aruba and colleagues from the Curaçao Police Department.
The course was taught by instructor Ms. Eva Vahrmeijer, with Mr. Pleun Trooster of the Netherlands Police Academy (NPA) as course supervisor.
This course provides information on the function and role of an OvD-R (Officier van Dienst Recherche) for all police officers working in the Criminal Investigation Department. It was a course to expand their knowledge in this new area so that the detective department could function in a more structured way.
At the end of the course, the participants received their certificates. This took place in the presence of Commissioner Head of Criminal Investigation Services, Mr. Robert Candelaria, Mr. H. Koolman, Head of the Central Criminal Investigation Division, and Mr. G. Cham, Acting Head of General Criminal Investigation of the Aruba Police Department.
Congratulations to all police officers from both Aruba and Curaçao who received their certificates.
