Artificial intelligence in human resources at the Aruba Tourism Authority
ORANJESTAD - The official launch of "Jonas", an innovative project between the Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) and AFAS, took place on Monday, July 14.
After an extensive development and preparation process, A.T.A. becomes the first customer in the Caribbean to implement the AFAS Artificial Intelligence (AI) module, as a colleague in the Human Resources Department of A.T.A.
Jonas provides 24/7 support to A.T.A.'s employees, offering immediate answers to all questions related to the organization's internal regulations and procedures. This new digital employee was introduced to the entire A.T.A. during an internal event that featured speeches by the Human Resources team, as well as a presentation and demonstration by AFAS.
This implementation aims to optimize the internal processes of the A.T.A. human resources department, allowing them to focus more on the development and welfare of human talent, which remains a priority for A.T.A.
Jonas will soon have his voice, allowing employees to interact with him directly from their mobile phones without the need for a computer. It will facilitate access to information and enhance the staff experience in their work environment.
Like a human colleague, Jonas will continue to evolve and grow in the organization.
