All Dutch nationals or legal residents of Aruba are urged to leave Lebanon as soon as practicable.
ORANJESTAD - The Dutch Government has been closely monitoring the situation of the conflict between Lebanon and Israel for some time and has recently issued a “code red” travel advisory for both countries on www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl.
The conflict between Hezbollah and Israel is escalating, and the Dutch embassy cannot guarantee assistance if a Dutch national faces problems in the country.
The Dutch Government strongly advises all Dutch nationals NOT to travel to Lebanon or Israel. Active assistance will be provided to Dutch nationals or individuals of other nationalities but with legal residency in the Netherlands or the Dutch Caribbean, including Aruba, to leave Lebanon with military or commercial flights while this is still possible. In the coming days, the Netherlands will arrange for military air transport. Additionally, efforts will continue to assist with commercial flights. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is in contact with other countries organizing flights to repatriate Dutch nationals or legal residents of the Kingdom as soon as possible.
