Agri-Business Academy starts with a new group of participants.

This is an old post.

ORANJESTAD - At the beginning of 2023, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Communications, and Sustainable Development, along with the Ministry of Nature and Qredits Aruba, introduced the Agri-Business Academy.

It is a series of educational workshops aimed at transforming farmers or those who plant as a hobby into entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector. Qredits Aruba presents the workshop series and provides participants with the necessary tools to achieve their goals and sustain a successful business.

Training and support ensure that Aruba's farmers are well-equipped to manage and grow their agricultural businesses effectively. The introduction of Agri-Fund was alongside Qredits Aruba. This program offers low-interest financing (2%) to support the development and expansion of farming projects. It helps farmers access the necessary capital to invest in their businesses. It, in turn, increases productivity, promotes commercial sustainability, and helps create food security in Aruba.
