"Young Entrepreneurship Workshop" on May 13, 2025 was well attended.
ORANJESTAD—The Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce, and Industry, through its unit of Aruban Enterprise Development Initiative (IDEA), organized the second part of the workshop series on 'Young Entrepreneurship Workshop' on May 13, 2025.
During this workshop, the participants were inspired and educated about how to have their businesses.
The following speakers presented the following topics:
- Jeremy Croes presented the topic 'Introduction to Crypto Investing.' He gave a basic explanation of blockchain/crypto and Bitcoin. He also gave information on how to manage your crypto and to buy crypto in Aruba, etc. During his presentation, Mr. Croes answered many questions properly, and all questions came forward.
- Julieta van der Biezen, owner of You Count Administration & Consultancy, presented the topic 'Manage Your Finances.' During this session, Mrs. van der Biezen informed the participants about the following topics: 'Why managing your finances is important! He added that you can reduce stress by making wise decisions and making preparations for the future. He also discussed investing and saving strategies, as well as short- and long-term objectives.
This workshop was the second part of the workshop series on 'Young Entrepreneurship Workshop.' All the workshops are free of charge. The workshop will be on June 10, and the topic will be 'Write Your Business Plan and Intellectual Properties.'
The last workshop will be on July 1, 2025
The workshops take place at the Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce, and Industry in room #25 on the second floor of the Sun Plaza Building from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm.
IDEA is extremely pleased with the content and the good comments received from its participants. The workshop was very interactive and had tremendous presentations by all the speakers.
IDEA would also like to note that most of their workshops are free and dedicated to everyone who wants to plan, launch, manage, or expand their business.
