Warawara
ORANJESTAD -The National Library of Aruba receives another work by a visual artist, Mr. Ephraim Britten, for its collection.
Ephraim R. Britten fell in love with painting when he was young. He continued to learn to perfect his art and enhance his knowledge. Everyone appreciates his artwork of a unique and recognizable style. His last major project was for the Aruba Archaeological Museum and entailed a series of works with the history of Aruba as the central theme.
Ephraim Britten exhibits his painting 'Warawara' at the library as public art. This Warawara has a mystical, esoteric, naive expression with this bird as a powerful symbol. Perhaps the Warawara brings a message from the spirit world? This composition takes you into another era, reality, and a lost time.
Ephraim Britten was born in Aruba on October 20, 1967, and in 1988, Ephraim exhibited his works at the National Library of Aruba. He painted several stamp images in the 1990s per Post Aruba's request and held an exhibition at the Institute of Culture in 2004.
