This week there are no more appointments available for the yellow fever vaccine at the Department of Public Health (DVG).

ORANJESTAD— The Department of Public Health (DVG) informs that all appointments for the yellow fever vaccine for this week are full.

There is no more availability for vaccines this week.

We advise and stress that anyone visiting a nation or area where yellow fever is a danger (such as some South American, Central American, and African countries) schedule their vaccine appointment at least ten days before their departure date.

This is essential to give time for the vaccine to take effect. In some cases, it is a requirement to enter the countries.
The yellow fever vaccine is a single dose that provides lifelong protection. Keep the yellow book, which serves as proof of immunization, close at hand after receiving the shot, because many countries will request it when you enter or exit their borders.

To avoid inconvenience or problems, DVG advises all travelers to plan their vaccination. Do not wait until the last minute.
