The Street Song Festival celebrates local culture and talent with the support of A.T.A.
ORANJESTAD—In the context of the cultural celebration of Brazil Day, Chico Harms Foundation successfully organized the Festival Cantica di Caya (Street Song festival) on July 25 (children's and youth category) and July 26 (adult category), 2025, at the Brazil Community Center.
The Chico Harms Foundation in Brazil aims to preserve and promote our cultural heritage, while also encouraging community participation in folklore, as well as creative and educational activities. The foundation has been organizing the celebration of Brazil Day for 15 years, a cultural season that begins at the end of June and lasts until the first Sunday of September.
Brazil Day, every year, unites neighborhoods, people of all ages, and local talent in a joyful atmosphere, filled with music and passion for our culture. Festival Cantica di Caya serves as a platform for original songs in tambu style, featuring traditional folk bands and Creole rhythms, like dance, tumba, and mazurka. The event enables local talent to shine and to continue creating music in our language and style.
A.T.A. believes in the power of culture to unite people, honor our roots, and continue our tradition. For the third consecutive year, A.T.A. serves as the main sponsor, providing guidance and support not only for Brazil Day but also for all initiatives and commitments of the Chico Harms Foundation.
A.T.A. congratulates all winners and all who participated with dedication and passion. We wish the whole of Aruba a happy Brazil Day season. Do not forget to embrace your culture!
