The public tender for an architectural office to renovate Wilhelminastraat and the neighborhood has been closed.
ORANJESTAD - The Public Tender for beautification and renovation of the Wilhelminastraat and neighbourhood has been officially closed.
The project covers the area from Wilhelminastraat number 49/62 to the Wilhelminastraat/Kazernestraat intersection (excluding Plaza Daniel Leo), and also the area from Klipstraat/Oranjestraat, including Rifstraat and Schoolstraat.
Seven architecture bureaus signed up and worked on their visual plans for the area. On Thursday, a committee formed by three ministers and four merchants from Wilhelminastraat will select the most beautiful and most comprehensive plan, based on the criteria specially created for this purpose, so that the architectural bureau that wins the project can prepare the final design, drawings, and other documents necessary to execute the construction work.
