The Police Force and University of Aruba Achieving Positive Results Together

ORANJESTAD – The Aruba Police Force (KPA) and the University of Aruba (UA) continue to strengthen their collaboration and deepen their strong ties.

The main goal of this partnership is to bridge the gap between police science and practical application. Within this framework, more KPA officers are currently enrolled in courses at the University of Aruba.

Twelve officers are participating in a special program known as the KPA Track, while seven colleagues in leadership positions are following a Pre-Master Class at the University.

At the same time, final-year students from the University of Aruba are conducting research within KPA on topics aligned with the organization’s strategic and operational priorities.

Last week, UA Bachelor’s student Emy Lacle successfully defended her thesis on Community Policing in Aruba, earning an impressive grade of 8.5. Her graduation was celebrated in a beautiful ceremony, a result that the Aruba Police Force is very proud of.

The Aruba Police Force congratulates Emy and wishes her continued success in her future endeavors.
Through initiatives like these, the Aruba Police Force remains committed to developing knowledge, fostering innovation, and preparing its personnel for the challenges of the future.
