The LEES-app

This is an old post.

ORANJESTAD – The app LEES aims to promote reading among young people.

The LEES app is free for students. This app aims to encourage students to read more. The app has around 130 free e-books and audiobooks selected for young people.

The LEES app

Loading the app with Young Adult titles and books on music and sports icons has made reading much more attractive. Logging into the app is as simple as possible. The app extension led to the renewal of the collection. For example, there are now books by influencers Dai Carter, and Kelly Weekers, and BookTok hit The House in the Cerulean Sea.
Khalid Boudou wrote the book ‘Snel Geld’ ( Fast Money), especially for the app. This title turned out to be the most checked out on the platform.

Encouraging reading

The KB (National library of the Netherlands Library) will also continue cooperating with the National Library of Aruba to encourage reading among young people and increase their reading pleasure.
